Following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, President George W. Bush introduced the Aviation and Transportation Security Act. The newly created Transportation Security Administration (TSA) was part of this initiative. TSA, originally part of the Department of Transportation, was moved in 2003 to the Department of Homeland Security. With only a high school diploma and exceptional on the job training, you can be a part of the movement that is defending America from future terrorism.

The mandate of the Transportation Security Administration is to protect the transportation systems of America without impeding the freedom of movement of people and business. To meet this mission, TSA has deployed a massive federal workforce to manage security at the nation's airports.
