Off we go to the days of old as we follow a modern boy who encounters all sorts of ancient rituals on route to solving a puzzle. Happy as a clam with his youthful life on earth is Percy Jackson. Logan Lerman (3:10 to Yuma) displays all the actions of your typical kid as Percy, a boy just trying to fit in with his school chums while living at home with his mom. Little does Percy know that he has special powers that may in fact hold the key to the future of the world.

Kids the world over know how difficult school may be. In Percy’s case he’s got Grover, his best buddy to rely on. Wise-cracking Brandon T. Jackson (Tooth Fairy) jokes his way through the story as Grover, an aide and confidante to Percy who has a hidden past. Both boys find out the hard way that special powers abound in their bodies with Percy the long lost son of one of the Gods who now is caught in some sort of medieval power play.
